Bob's Bicycles has an awesome product selection! We are particularly impressed with their Cruisers/Classic category. Three full pages of these great looking bikes really caught our eye. Other bike categories including All-Terrain, Children’s, BMX, Cyclo-cross, Electric, Cross/Hybrid, Comfort, Commuter/Town, Road and Tandem make up the wide selection of bikes that appeal to all riding levels.
The simplicity of the Bobs-Bicycles website is one of the deciding factors for us that put them in the top three of our reviews. High quality product pictures and just the right amount of information on each item is a plus. Narrowing down what you are looking for is easy with multiple search boxes that include a product search, site search, advanced search and brand search. You can also sort products by high/low price, brand A-Z/Z-A and by customer reviews.
An easy to view drop down side bar menu has product categories neatly organized. Overall, the whole site is sleek and straightforward.
Where do we start? A video clip of the tip of the day is our favorite feature. Simply click play and you’re off to fun and informative tips. When we reviewed the site, one tip of the day was How To Be Safe On Group Rides. By taking the time to inform their customers and offer biking advice and tips, Bob’s shows they are a bike store concerned about more than just profit but about taking care of their clients.

Big buttons on the homepage take you to hot deals and we like the format they’re in; not too much of an information overload but enough picture and product enticement that you want to click on the button to check it out.
An informative Polices and Shipping section of the site provides need-to-know details on everything from backorders, damaged shipments, warranty and returns to tracking.
There are a couple of features we feel are lacking on the website. One needed feature is an FAQ section. This area on a website (especially an online store) always proves helpful and informative to the customer. The other feature that would be a great addition to the site is an index or glossary to define biking terms. Also, providing cycling technical help would put Bob's Bicycles on par with their main competition.
